Dimensions Of A Shuffleboard

SOMEONE NICE AND NEWS FROM SIBERIA

The Whaley House is a beautiful building located in San Diego (California , USA). It has undergone several restorations, but basically unchanged, as can be seen if compared with an image of the nineteenth century

According to available data, the farm (which began as a simple barn) was begun in 1856 . The following year he lifted the two-story house (which was the first of its kind in San Diego) and the store next door.

If anything, its original owner (Thomas Whaley) can only be criticized for one thing: who has bought a land where there was formerly a cemetery located . But from the point of view man, it was logical he did: ran a brick factory a short distance away and was a reasonable place to be always close to his family.

Cemetery or not, few homes may show that activity levels had the Whaley House over that time. The barn very soon ceased to be used as a barn was alternately meeting place for locals, billiard room, school and church. Until finally it was leased to the San Diego County for use as a courthouse.

For more that were just over two years, the use of part of the house as Court may added a little more negativity to the site (as if the existing cemetery is not already enough). Times were hard and the destination was decided for many criminals in this site was not very pleasant.

At the same time, another part of the house was used as a general store. Still kept lists of products that were sold there, that do not vary too much from today are available in a supermarket.

But
reason for this house into the posts of this blog is delusional in its eventful history or the work of conservators and restorers (which seems wonderful), but the appearance of ghosts on many occasions.

Apparently, this is always the same three "people." The first is an individual shabby, dark appearance. Since it always appears on the stairs, some researchers think that this is a thief that, in the nineteenth century, was caught and locked in struggle with the calm of the store.
managed to strike with a knife at one of them, but in their hasty flight was achieved and beaten to death, precisely on the stairs.

The other two ghosts are far less sinister: are two girls . Of these, one has been fully "identified" as one of the couple's children Whaley, thanks to family portraits that have been preserved.

Of the other girl, nothing is known. But the small Whaley is the one seen most clearly : while the other two barely reflects the consistency of a blur (which is expected of a ghost), she has been confused more than once with a simple visitor of the museum which is now in place. If you speak, disappears from view.

Whaley House belongs to the San Diego County since 2000. It is run by a nonprofit organization, which since 1969 preserves the cultural heritage and many sites throughout the United States.
For the modest sum of six dollars, you can visit and, even for a while, entering a nice (and ghost) of the past.

I leave you a video that shows more:
